Gulf Craft is one of the highly successful and respected luxury yachts manufacturers worldwide. The company was founded in 1982 as a builder of open power boats. Its headquarter is located in Ajman, in the United Arab Emirates, just about 50 miles north of Dubai. Gulf Craft was started by the Alshaali siblings – Abdullah, Jamal, and Mohammed, who still chairs the company, along with their friend Mohammed Hamdan Alshamsi. Today, the company has grown incrementally thanks to the dedication of its team, passion to serve high-quality boats and luxury yachts to their customers, to over 1,500 employees.
In 1992, the company began making larger vessels with diesel engines. Further the company built a large new production facility in Um Al Quwain to extend its growing line of luxury superyachts and private yachts in the year 2000. Some of their masterpieces have won internationally claimed awards. By 2014, Gulf Craft ranked amongst the best luxury yacht manufacturers in the world. Gulf Craft yachts are now a common fixture in marinas all over Europe, Australia, Asia and the Middle East. Their vessels include a number of models for a variety of purposes.
